East Canyon Watershed Committee

The East Canyon Watershed Committee is a group dedicated to protecting and enchancing the water quality in the East Canyon Watershed. It has been active since the early 1990’s and comprises state agencies, federal agencies, and local interest groups.

East Canyon Creek above Jeremy Ranch Golf Course - Summer 2010

Since the East Canyon Creek and Reservoir TMDLs were completed in 2000, the East Canyon Watershed Committee has worked tirelessly to improve water quality. The Committee has been integral in working with landowners, developing projects, securing funding, providing match, conducting outreach, and overseeing studies in the East Canyon Watershed. The results of these efforts are compiled in a final report available here .

2010 Revised East Canyon Total Maximum Daily Load Study

On September 14, 2010 EPA approved the revisions to the East Canyon Creek and Reservoir TMDL. The document is broken into several parts due to file size.
